Hives
The 24 inch Starter Hive.
This starter hive is generally for your first colony of bees that have been purchased or to place a captured swarm.
The 24" Starter hive comes fully built and is currently only available through local pickup. Want to build it yourself and save money? Get the kit! The 24" short kit is also available.

16 - top bars with knobs
1 - Follower board

The 48" Pro Hive is a single colony hive that can also, be used for splits.

Hives
The Top Bar Nucleus hive box.
The Top Bar Nucleus Hive Box (AKA Nuc Box), is here, will be shipping soon and it's built to last! 52 stainless steel screws are used to hold this hive box together! This hive box holds 6 - 17" top bars which, can be moved directly over to a 24". 36" or 48" top bar hive box as the colony grows.
The top bar nucleus box is made from solid southern pine which, has been sanded and is ready for paint. The box weighs 11.6 lbs. with 6 top bars and no paint. The top fits close on the sides but, has 1/8" gaps for the front and back making it easy to add spacers to raise the box lid for ventalation in the summer, if needed.
The end boards of this hive box are specially cut for the top bar placement. Bees are not included.
Dimesions:
18" deep x 8 1/2" tall x 10" wide - without lid.
17" deep x 6 1/2" tall x 8 1/2" wide - space under the bars
Cavity: (939.25 in³ = 15.39155 Liters)
